Use wlan slovenija network as a test case for VALET: Very Affordable Laser Ethernet Transciever, under developed by me as a 3rd year university project at UCL, London. :)
VALET description:
Free space optical links are presently employed only in commercial systems due to the incredibly high price tag, although carrying an immense bandwidth potential in noisy RF environments such as urban areas and countries with limited or restricted Wi-Fi networking. Very Affordable Laser Ethernet Transciever is set to create an open source system capable of high bandwidth free space optical communication suitable for use by communities, limiting the costs by implementing and reusing mass-produced components and slightly pushing error handling up the network stack.
